Aho my Beloved Children (of the Rainbow) and Grandchildren of the Hoops,
I was watching an older movie last night ('Gypsy Girl' with Hayley Mills and Ian McShane) and the town congregation sang this hymn. I knew a couple of the phrases from the books by James Harriot, 'All Creatures Great and Small' and 'All Things Bright and Beautiful', but did not realize they came from an old church hymn. I thought that this was lovely and wanted to share with all of you, my children of the hoops, the Rainbow Clan.
All Things Bright and Beautiful
Cecil F. Alexander, pub.1848
Refrain:
All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful: The Lord God made them all.
Each little flow’r that opens, Each little bird that sings, He made their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings. The purple-headed mountains, The river running by, The sunset and the morning, That brightens up the sky. The cold wind in the winter, The pleasant summer sun, The ripe fruits in the garden, He made them every one. The tall trees in the greenwood, The meadows where we play, The rushes by the water, To gather every day. He gave us eyes to see them, And lips that we might tell
How great is God Almighty, Who has made all things well.
I do give thanks, my little child, for all of who you are.... whether you understand your greatness or not, whether you know the bow or not, whether you are pure or impure, whether you are heaven or earth, whether you are seen or unseen, whether you love or not. I do value and give thanks for all. You are great in spite of the fall. I do give thanks to hear your songs, I do give thanks so all will get along. I do give thanks to see your shining face, I do give thanks when you have lost your grace. I do give thanks, my darlings every one, that you are the hope, the rising of the suns. You are loved you see, before you ever do. You are always loved, because that is what heaven dews. I do give thanks that God is true to all, that we each one, so perfect, are the great and are the small.
Sending my love and blessings to catch the breeze. It is ever searching for those heavenly knees. To see them bow, the blessed arch, it is my hearts delight. I do so long to give thee comfort when you are full of fright. So send your love out too, catch the mighty blew. Let us bend and bow and gift our hearts, it is the heavenly view.
My love is true, my soul doth know all of you.

Rainbow Warriors of Prophecy

Let me show you how it's done, just roll up your arms and dive on in, with open arms and a warm smile, you will be okay in awhile. I am Grandmother Comfort in the Wind and I am here to share our souls again. Once we walked and shared our heart. Now it's time for us to begin this walk and impart. Share your story with the heaven sent. Share your heart where ever you went. Share with the world, prophecy has arrived. It's time for us to say good night. Dream and think of me holding you when you need, for I will rock you to bed to sleep. Dream of far off distant shores, where all will be relatives more/moor (watered grass, welcome to a new home, heaven and earth we do roam).
Teach what is right, that law is the LOVE, then when two hearts are united, we share with intelligence. However if LOVE doesn't lead the way, then we fight to unite LOVE, two broken hearts, then we know that we are walking the truth path, the love to each other, the kind that lasts, over rolling hills in time, over the suns, and into the heart of the blue seas of every one. We are the Prophecy, the Rain upon the Land, so parched, it will need a Rainbow, to serve it home the right way and know where to land (the Rainbow always lands on the pot of gold, abundance, brotherhood)!
